About Me



Professor of Geography Department of Geography and Geology, University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. My primary teaching responsibilities lie in physical geography and climatology. My research primarily focuses on the use of interactive multimedia learning technologies in geoscience.


Author

I wrote the first book about using the Internet for earth science education and research, Earth Online. I have written one of the first interactive online textbooks in physical geography, The Physical Environment. I’ve also been a contributor to World Book encyclopedia.


Consultant

I  am a web author and media consultant. I’ve completed media projects for Prentice Hall, John Wiley, and Houghton -Mifflin. I presently serve as consultant and and web master for Prentice Hall Publishing, maintaining over a dozen textbook companion web sites.
